Arsenal Inc. is proud to announce the launch of the SAM7K-28-CU “Common Use” a special introductory version of Arsenal’s SAM7K-28 short barrel rifle.

For decades short barrel rifles have been treated as restricted unusual and out of reach for many law-abiding Americans due to the National Firearms Act. Through the NFA SBRs were placed behind additional paperwork registration approval requirements and a tax burden that helped keep them artificially uncommon.
In modern Second Amendment debate in addition to the history-and-tradition test reinforced by the Bruen decision the phrase “common use” has become one of the key standards courts use when examining whether a firearm is protected. Courts hostile to the Second Amendment have often tried to frame certain firearms as “dangerous and unusual” simply because regulation has kept them from being more widely owned.

The SAM7K-28-CU is part of Arsenal’s campaign to help make short barrel rifles common use among the American people. The more law-abiding Americans who lawfully own SBRs the harder it becomes to claim they are rare unusual or outside the American firearms tradition.

Arsenal CNC Machined Aluminum Tactical Buttstock Assembly

Arsenal’s CNC machined aluminum tactical stock provides better ergonomics and functionality in a lighter and stronger design. It includes four non-rotating QD points on the stock for precise sling attachment and extra cutouts for decreased weight without compromising strength. This stock easily attaches to a 1913 Picatinny rail.

The buttstock body is CNC machined from a single piece of aluminum. The stock has a cheek weld groove machined on both sides for an ambidextrous fit. All the parts are CNC machined in house to ensure consistency. This attention to detail and the manufacturing of these parts in house has produced a high quality stock with tight tolerances that’s built to last.

Arsenal’s Exclusive Milled And Forged Receiver

Each SAM7K receiver is milled from a hot-die hammer forged receiver blank by the Arsenal Co. of Bulgaria. Other milled-receivers are machined from bar stock but Arsenals hot-die hammer forging produces stronger and finer-grained steel. Internal voids and cooling deformations are eliminated by the 5-ton hammer forging process. The forged receiver starts out as a blank and requires over 5.5 hours of milling before assembly. This forging and milling process is very complex and time-intensive but with our meticulous attention to detail we deliver a receiver of unequalled strength precision and durability.

Includes FIME Group Enhanced Fire Control Group

Includes FM-922EUS the Enhanced Fire Control Group (FCG) for AK- and RPK-based rifles. FIME’s Enhanced FCG includes a single-hook trigger hammer disconnector disconnector springs.

FIME’s Enhanced Fire Control Group delivers shortened trigger travel with an extremely smooth and light trigger pull. To prevent lever misfires the disconnector face makes full contact with the hammer. Further the disconnector is engineered with an elongated tail which makes a full stop on the rear trigger guard rivet and the hammer stop prevents the hammer from slamming on the trigger. With these two designs functioning together it eliminates the “trigger slap” found in competing products.
