Swiss K31 Straight-Pull Bolt Action Rifle 7.5x55mm

Description

Swiss Karabiner Model 1931 K31 Straight-Pull Bolt Action Rifle – 7.5x55mm Swiss (Original Military Surplus)

Experience a century of legendary Swiss craftsmanship with the Swiss Karabiner Model 1931 (K31). Imported directly by FIME Group LLC this limited offering brings genuine pieces of European military heritage to the American market.

Adopted as the Karabiner Modell 1931 or K31 the rifle followed the earlier K11 with improvements on the straight pull action. The K31 moved its locking lugs forward to lock immediately behind the chamber. This allowed the Swiss to build a shorter more compact action while retaining a full-length barrel and extending the sight radius. The result was a rifle that preserved the fast distinctive operation of the earlier straight-pull system while refining it into a more compact and modern military design for its time.

A well-made Swiss rifle tied to Switzerland’s longstanding citizen-soldier militia system something appreciated and admired by collectors.

FIME Group’s current offering consists of genuine Swiss military-surplus K31 rifles. As authentic surplus firearms individual rifles will naturally vary in wood grain finish markings and service wear preserving the individual character earned through decades of military history.

For collectors who acquired one of FIME Group’s K11 rifles the K31 offers a natural companion and an opportunity to experience the evolution of the Swiss straight-pull system firsthand. For those new to Swiss military rifles it represents one of the most refined and recognizable examples of Switzerland’s reputation for precision manufacturing.
